Airports:
In the neighborhood of San Sebastian there are 3 airports, two of which are international. One airport is found just 30 minutes away from the center of the city, where flight connections to all main Spanish airports can be obtained. A few short kilometers away lay Bilbao airport (1 hour), which connects to all of Europe, as in Biarritz airport where both international and low-cost airlines operate.
Train Station:
The train station in San Sebastian is found right in the center of town and is known as the Estación del Norte (North Station). It connects to several Spanish cities, amongst which are Madrid and Barcelona, as well as international destinations like Paris and Lisbon. Additionally, a train network exists that connects to Bilbao and other cities along the Basque coastline, as well as routes joining with France.

By Car:
San Sebastian is connected to the rest of Spain and to France by the national motorways N1/AP1 (Madrid-Irún), the A-8 (Bilbao-Irún), A-63 (Paris-Irún) and the A-15 (Pamplona-San Sebastian). From these routes one can enter all zones of the city, including that of the Hotel Maria Cristina San Sebastian. Furthermore, the city offers just under 5000 parking spaces for your convenience, distributed equally across different zones.
By Bus:
The bus station is found in the Amara district, 15 minutes by taxi from the city center, connecting to all Spanish cities and parts of continental Europe.

San Sebastian Airport (EAS) – 30 minutes
From San Sebastian Airport located in Hondarribia, head northeast, direction AP 8 Donostia-San Sebastian. The exit from the highway to the Hotel is Loiola, exit nº 7, following direction toward Donostia/Erdia/S.Sebastian. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Hirigunea/Centro/Amara and merge onto Ribera de Loiola. Take the ramp onto De Bizkaia Ibilbidea. Continue onto Árbol de Gernika Ibilbidea. Turn left to stay on Árbol de Gernika Ibilbidea. Turn right onto Fueros de los Ibilbidea/Paseo los Fueros. Turn left onto República Argentina Kalea.
Bilbao Airport (BIO) – 1 hour
From Bilbao Airport located in Loiu, take the motorway E70 (A8) towards San Sebastian. Leave the motorway at exit 6 (Amara - San Sebastian centro). Continue along the river following the directions to the city-center that appears on the blue signs as well as on others. Follow the river until you reach the entrance of the hotel.
